"Cindy Costa's seniority on the Republican National Committee as well as her position as vice- chairman of the RNC Rules Committee make her an invaluable asset to the SCGOP."

Dear Republican Friends,

I have created this site to make it easier to communicate with you and to allow you to get to know a little more about me.

I have been involved in the Republican Party since the 1976 campaign when Ronald Reagan ran against Gerald Ford in the Republican Primary. Ronald Reagan spoke to the core of who I was. He embodied the conservative, can do spirit that I embrace today, and the principles he applied made him an effective leader and a great President.

Since that time, I have faithfully served in the Republican Party for some 25 years now, and I have learned much in the process.  I understand that we are all important in assuring Republican election victories. We must always treat each other respectfully even when we don't see eye to eye on every issue.

The following are a list of my goals for my service on the National Committee:

  • To represent the members of South Carolina GOP with Grace, Dignity, and Integrity in my position as RNC.
  • Work continually to recruit, equip, and elect qualified candidates who adhere to the core principles of the Republican Party.
  • Serve as a unifying member of the State GOP.
  • Interact more directly with each member of the SC GOP using this vehicle.

I've posted copies of the proposed resolutions that will be introduced at the upcoming National Committee meeting next week.

They are:

1) Resolution Commending Republican Members of Congress for Opposition to Bailouts and Reckless Spending

2) RNC Resolution Recognizing the Democrat's March Towards Socialism

3) RNC Resolution Urging Members of Congress to Abandon Earmarks

We think these are important issues that conservative Republicans need to take a strong stand on, and we'll be working hard to get them passed.
